The Cumberland Economic Development Corporation has announced it has hired local attorney Paul J. Kelly, Jr. will lead the organization as its Executive Director.
The CEDC conducted a national search for this position and interviewed candidates from across the country. According to a press release, Kelly brings tremendous passion for positive economic change to the position and, as a Cumberland native and attorney with private development experience, he is uniquely suited to implement the CEDC’s Strategic
Plan. “Paul brings a wealth of experience to the organization; he is involved with small, entrepreneurial businesses,
large corporations and has hands-on experience creating strategic partnerships and development of complex
projects.” said CEDC Board Chairman Jonathan Hutcherson. “His passion for positive change in our region is
driven by a clear vision and a demonstrated ability to take action."
