The City of Cumberland Engineering Department would like to notify the public that Shaffer Construction the contractor for Columbia Gas will be making repairs to Centre Street from Union Street to Frederick Street. Centre Street will be closed for approximately 4 days beginning May 2 to allow for these upgrades. Vehicles wishing to access the downtown area are being asked to use Mechanic Street to Liberty Street.
