The Allegany County Chamber of Commerce held its Outstanding Business Recognition Awards Dinner earlier this month at the Frostburg State University Lane Center. The even is held annually to honor members in three categories — Business of the Year, Entrepreneurial Spirit, and Community Service. The honorees for the 27th Annual Business Recognition to be held at Frostburg State University are: Hunter Douglas Fabrication – Business of the Year; Barbara G. Buehl – Entrepreneurial Spirit Award; Dr. Matthew J. Allaway and Kelli L. Allaway – Community Service Award. Rob Garretson is the Vice-President of Customer Service for Hunter Douglas, and he talked with WCBC News about the company’s growth in Allegany County.
