Chamber of Commerce Urges Autocross Decision Reconsideration

June 27th, 2014 by WCBC Radio

Criticism continues to mount and pressure continues to grow for the Potomac Highlands Airport Authority to reverse a decision made earlier this month to not allow the popular autocross racing activities at the airport. On Thursday, the Allegany County Chamber of Commerce sent correspondence to Authority Chair Creade Brodie Jr. asking that the decision be reconsidered. Chamber Director Stu Czapski tells WCBC News that auto sports have a long and rich tradition in the area- and has proven a boost for the economy each year.
