In a letter to the chair of the House Ways and Means Committee, Allegany County Chamber of Commerce head Stu Czapski has explained why the organization is an opponent of House Bill 355. The bill, introduced by Delegate Leroy Myers would allow children in Maryland to attend public school in an adjoining county if they live more than 30 miles away from the closest school in their home county.
