Charlie Harris, after 29 years at WCBC Radio retired in 2009- and now he has decided to leave his longtime home of Cumberland to be closer to his daughter and soon to be grandson. Harris served many years as WCBC’s news director and morning news anchor but health issues forced him to give up full time work in 2004, and he retired from the business altogether six years ago. In the next few weeks Charlie and his wife Jan will be moving to North Carolina. Appearing on WCBC’s “Dave Norman Show” Thursday, Charlie looked back at his career and what has become his adopted hometown of Cumberland…
