Cumberland has another sports team to be proud of as Cheer Empire's Royal Obsession was awarded First Place and a National Championship at the US Finals at Virginia Beach.
The local girls captured the Youth Two title against 18 of the top teams in the country. Cheer Empire's Junior 3 squad finished third in a field of 16.
