The annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony and the arrival of Santa on the downtown mall will take place at 7:00 p.m. this evening. Cumberland City Police, due to the large number of citizens expected to attend, announcing some changes to increase the safety of those on hand. Starting at 5:00 p.m., there will be no parking allowed Centre Street from Dexter Place to Baltimore Street and on Liberty Street from Frederick to Baltimore Street. Signs will be posted to remind citizens of this restriction. As far as the show itself, Steven Leyh, promotions director for the DDC tells WCBC News it should be a great time for the entire family:
