The Maryland Department of the Environment says the City of Cumberland has applied for a permit for sodium hypochlorite conversion at the water filtration plant on Lake Gordon Road in Bedford County, Pennsylvania. Other permit applications filed recently include three from Jenkins Development Company, in Lonaconing, and one from Fibred Maryland on Day Road for food processing.
