The Cumberland Times News reports city workers on Wednesday cut what will become the city's Christmas tree. The tree, which stood at the main entrance to the former Allegany High School on Sedgwick Street, was donated by the Allegany County Board of Education. The tree will be lit Nov. 23 during a ceremony on the downtown mall.
