The Cumberland Mayor and City Council moved a step closer to seeing a long time blighted property eliminated- approving a contract Tuesday night that will allow for the demolition of the former East Side School at 100 Reynolds Street. The council approved an order accepting a revised proposal from the EADS Group to provie professional services to prepare for the demolition. The contract is not to exceed $32,937.
