City Council Race Will Feature Only Three Candidates

May 14th, 2012 by WCBC Radio

It appears as though this fall’s Cumberland City Council race will only feature three candidates vying for two open seats. Nick DeArcangelis announced just days before April’s primary election that he was not able to commit to the job and he urged his supporters to cast their votes elsewhere. In spite of that, DeArcangelis finished in the top four- technically advancing to the November General Election. While rumors have surfaced recently that the candidate might have a change of heart- he told WCBC’s “Dave Norman Show” Friday that although he hasn’t yet completed the necessary paperwork to make it official- he won’t be a candidate for the office….

Those active candidates who remain and will seek election are Nicole Wagoner, David Caporale and John Cline.
