City Council Sets Economic Work Session

Cumberland Mayor Ray Morriss and the City Council have scheduled a work session for Tuesday afternoon. Items on the agenda include the CEDC Housing Study, an update on Baltimore Street Access Project funding, a discussion of the Interstate 68 alliance, and the potential use of 400 Frederick Street as a business incubator.

City officials will also receive an update on the discussions that could merge economic development efforts of the city and the county at a work session Tuesday afternoon. In closed session, council will receive an update on businesses potentially locating in the city, and review new information regarding the former East Side School site.
