The Cumberland Mayor and City Council will begin preliminary budget talks at a special work session Tuesday evening at city hall. Like every local government across Maryland, state budget cuts has created a difficult fiscal situation for the city. Tonights session will include a general discussion as well as the establishment of time lines for the budget process. The public is welcome to attend.
