The Cumberland Mayor and City Council, after having heard concerns from Council members Butch Hendershot and David Kauffman opted to delay moving forward with a plan to increase a series of fees until after a public hearing can be scheduled. The proposed fee hikes center around various construction and zoning permits. The item was on the city’s agenda for approval last week, however it was determined that the citizens should have a chance to provide their input on the proposal prior to taking formal action.
