The Cumberland Mayor and City Council Tuesday expected to sign off on a memorandum of understanding with the city of Frostburg and the Allegany County Cumberland Foundation (CACIF) to enchance economic development efforts. Shawn Hershberger, economic development coordinator for the city, gave an update of the strategies being pursued for economic growth during a recent meeting- and those include doing targeted improvement efforts toward regions and specific businesses that could benefit from locating in the area.
