Cumberland Mayor Brian Grim confirmed to WCBC News on Tuesday that the city has selected Bishop Walsh as the site for the upcoming July 4th fireworks. It was announced several weeks ago that the city, as a result of a new state fire marshals law, would have to abandon its longtime launching site at Constitution Park. A search began, and the mayor said about a dozen locations were considered before settling on the campus at BW.
