City Limits Performing in Downtown Cumberland on Friday for Bands on the Bricks

The Cumberland Comes Alive concert series welcomes June with the opening show of Bands on the Bricks on Friday evening June 3. Local band City Limits takes the Historic City Center Stage at the corner of Liberty & Baltimore Streets at 6:30 pm. The performance is free of charge, but seating is limited, so don’t forget your folding lawn chair.

City Limits was formed in 2013 and has quickly became one of the area’s favorites. They specialize in modern country, top 40, and dance favorites. Front man Fred Sullivan, former singer of Queen City Funk and Soul, is backed by some of the area’s prominent musicians. The band features Steve Baer on guitar, Gregg Zembower on bass, and Jeff Sears on drums.

Cumberland Comes Alive is Western Maryland’s premier outdoor concert series. It is presented by Burgmeiers Hauling Inc. and is produced by the City of Cumberland’s Downtown Development Commission.

Bands on the Bricks concerts take place in the heart of Cumberland on the bricks of the one-and-only Historic City Center from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm every Friday starting June 3 and ending Aug. 26 (except June 10 – it will be hosted at Canal Place).
