The Cumberland Police Department served an arrest warrant on James Stevens Friday.
The warrant stemmed from an incident that occurred on September 4, 2015 on Greenway Avenue. Charges were filed by a private citizen at the Allegany County District Court. It is alleged that Stevens stole property from the victim and destroyed it.
Stevens was placed under arrest, processed, and taken to the Allegany County District Court Commissioner where he was released on a $5,000 unsecured bond.

CHARGES: Assault-2nd Degree, Theft less than $1,000, Robbery
