City man sentenced for Giuseppe’s burglary

The Office of the State’s Attorney for Allegany County, Maryland announced today the sentencing of Kurt Jason Wilt, 34 of Cumberland, Maryland, to 10 years in the Department of Corrections for his involvement in the burglary of Giuseppe’s Restaurant in Frostburg, Maryland.  Mr. Wilt was convicted of Conspiring with Ronald Smith to commit a 2nd Degree Burglary of the establishment.   Mr. Wilt was also sentenced to an additional 5 years that were suspended conditioned upon Mr. Wilt attend and complete drug addiction counseling, have no contact with the Giuseppe’s restaurant and to have no other violations of the law. 

Michael O. Twigg, State’s Attorney, represented the State and G. V. McKinley represented Mr. Wilt.  The Honorable W. Timothy Finan presided over the matter.
