City Men Accused Of Assault Held Without Bond

On July 1, 2017 the Cumberland Police served arrest warrants on Brandon Louis Vance Livengood and Gage Louis Vance Livengood.

Both were charged with 1st Degree Assault and 2nd Degree Assault after investigation by police into a June 25, 2017 assault complaint that occurred in the 400 block of Columbia Street. In that incident an adult male victim was with both Brandon and Gage Livengood when the victim got into an argument with Gage Livengood. During the argument Gage and Brandon Livengood began striking the victim. The victim began to run away but was struck in the head and body by a metal rod. He was finally able to get away and call the police.

The victim sustained minor injuries and was taken to the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. Both Brandon and Gage Livengood were held without bond after bond hearings with the District Court Commissioner. Both were taken to the Allegany County Detention Center to await their next appearance in District Court.

Gage Louis Vance Livengood, age: 19, Cumberland, MD

Charges: Both charged with 1st Degree Assault and 2nd Degree Assault
