The Cumberland Mayor and City Council this week received recommendations to be submitted to the department of housing and community development for 2020 Community Legacy Funding. $6 million dollars is made available for the entire state for capital projects. Cumberland’s has three projects totaling $540,000 on its list. Those include $140,000 for improvement to the Center City Parking Garage; $250,000 for upgrades at the YMCA on Kelly Road; and $150,000 for the Neighborhoods Matter Program.
