The City of Cumberland will meet with CSX officials concerning the replacement of three West Side bridges in mid July.

Council also addressed a question from Dale Avenue resident Rick Lohnas regarding the continued closure of the Cumberland Street Bridge, with Rhodes saying it would not be safe to reopen the span until it is replaced.
Last night’s City Council meeting was conducted with Rock Cioni serving as acting mayor. Mayor Ray Morriss was in Annapolis meeting with Maryland Governor Larry Hogan.
