Officers responded to an address on Greene St. to serve an Arrest Warrant on Craig Allen Beatty for Destruction Of Property. Upon their arrival they made contact with a female at the residence who advised that Beatty was inside. She went inside and Beatty came to the front door. He was advised that he was under arrest and at this time he took up a defensive posture with clenched fists. Officers were able to get Beatty into hand restraints after a short struggle. During this time he was screaming and continued to yell creating a disturbance after being told to stop. He was transported to PH where he was processed, charged and then taken for a Bond Hearing.
Craig Allen Beatty Age: 41 Greene St., Cumberland
Charges: DOP, Resisting Arrest, Disorderly Conduct, Disturbing the Peace
Beatty was held in the ACDC on total bond of $7000.
