The Cumberland City Police is actively investigating several destruction of property incidents that occurred in the early morning hours of October 4, 2015. A Cumberland City Police Officer was on patrol in the three and four hundred blocks of Decatur Street when the officer observed the landscaping at three different locations had been damaged. The officer noticed that flowers, plants, flower pots, and landscaping decorations had been broken and thrown about the area. The approximate amount of property damage totaled well over $1,000. The Cumberland City Police is asking anyone that may have information regarding these incidents to call 301-777-1600. Callers may remain anonymous.
