City Police Make Disturbance Arrests

DISTURBANCE ARREST

On Wednesday November 9, 2016, at 11:53 am, Cumberland City Police Officers responded to the 200 block of Virginia Avenue for a disturbance.   Brittany Sears, age 26 of Cumberland, was observed by officers yelling out in the street for no apparent reason in the presence of passerby’s.  Sears was repeatedly advised lower her voice but she refused to comply with the officers demands.  As a result, Sears was placed under arrest and transported to the Cumberland City Police Department where she was processed and served.  She was criminally cited and released pending trial at the Allegany County District Court.

DISTURBANCE ARREST

On Wednesday November 9, 2016 at 9:57 pm, Cumberland City Police Officers responded to a disturbance in the 200 block of Park Street.  Upon arrival, officers observed Darrell Irvin, age 51 of Cumberland acting in a disruptive manner.  Irvin continued his behavior by cursing on a public Street.  As a result, Irving was placed under arrest and transported to the Cumberland City Police Department where he was processed and served.  Irvin was criminally cited and released pending trial at the Allegany County District Court.
