City Police Make Trespassing; Domestic Assault Arrests

Domestic Assault

On September 8, 2016, Officers from the Cumberland City Police responded to the 400 block of Walnut St. for a violation of a Protective Order Complaint. Upon arrival officers located Tristan Dorsey, age 19, Cumberland, Maryland. Officers investigating the complaint were able to verify that Dorsey was in violation of a Court Ordered Protective Order.  Officers also found that a physical altercation had occurred between Dorsey and complainant.  At this time Dorsey was placed under arrest for violating the Protective Order and Assault 2nd Degree. Dorsey was later taken to District Court for his Initial Appearance where he was held without bond.    

 

Trespassing

On September 8, 2016, Officers responded to 313 Pennsylvania Ave for a trespassing complaint.  Upon arrival officers spoke to the complainant who advised that Wayne King, age 43, Cumberland, Maryland, had been causing a disturbance and trespassing on their posted property.  Officers contacted King and advised him to leave the property and not to return. King complied and left the area.  Approximately an hour later officers were called again to the residence for King trespassing on the property.  When officers arrived King was found on the property and arrested for trespassing.  King was taken to the Cumberland City Police Department where he was issued a Criminal Citation for trespassing and released pending trial.
