On 2/3/2019 at approximately 1:30 PM the Cumberland City Police were dispatched to a residence in the 600 block of North Centre Street for an assault. Upon arrival officers spoke to the victim and observed injuries consistent with an assault. Officer located the suspect Seth Ronald Larue and placed him under arrest without issue. Mr. Larue was taken before a District Court Commissioner and remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center on a $1,000.00 bond.

Arrested – Seth Ronald Larue (28) Cumberland, MD

Charge – Assault 2^nd Degree

 

Adult Arrest

 

On 2/3/2019 at approximately 7:00 PM the Cumberland City Police Department were dispatched to a business in the 700 block of Park Street for a theft complaint. Officers located a subject later identified as Douglas Wayne Black walking behind the business with a shopping cart full of merchandise. Upon questioning Mr. Black he admitted to stealing items from inside the business. Mr. Black was arrested without issue and transported to the police station. Mr. Black was issued a criminal citation for theft less than $100.00 and released pending trial in District Court.

Charge – Theft Less Than $100.00

 

Adult Arrest

 

On 2/3/2019 the Cumberland City Police Department served an arrest warrant on Deron Michael Elbin. The warrant was issued when Mr. Elbin failed to appear in court on a previous theft charge.  Mr. Elbin was taken before a District Court Commissioner and released on a $1,000.00 unsecured bond.
