City Police Makes Several Arrests Thursday

On Thursday, September 5th, 2019 the Cumberland Police Department received a complaint that a male identified as Byron Nathan Morrison was at the Roses’ Plaza involved in suspected criminal activity.  Morrison was contacted by police and was directed to leave and not to return at the request of Roses’ property management.  Later on, another complaint was received the Morrison was back on Roses’ property causing additional issues.  He was located and arrested for trespassing on private property.  Morrison was issue a criminal citation released pending trial as District Court.

Arrest Warrant Served

 

On Thursday, September 5th, 2019 the Cumberland Police Department serve a Circuit Court Warrant on McClave Cleland Combs III for child support non compliance.  He was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center.

Disorderly Arrest

On Thursday, September 5th, 2019 the Cumberland Police responded to the 1700 block of Frederick Street for the report of a male walking in and of traffic.  When officers arrived, they observed the male who was identified as Jason Apollo Crabtree.  He was observed by police walking in front of vehicles and causing some to break to avoid striking him.  Crabtree was instructed to get out of the roadway but did

not comply.  He was arrested for disorderly conduct, failure to obey a lawful order, and obstructing and hindering.  Crabtree was taken to the Allegany County Detention Center to await a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
