City Police makes theft arrest

On 2/1/2019 at approximately 3:30 PM the Cumberland City Police were dispatched to a business in the 400 block of Virginia Avenue for a theft complaint. Upon arrival officers learned that Billie Jo Resh had concealed merchandise from the business and left passing all points of sale. Ms. Resh was confronted in the parking lot by staff and waited for the police. Ms. Resh was placed under arrest for the theft and transported to the police station. Ms. Resh was issued a criminal citation for theft less than $100.00 and released pending trial in District Court.

Charge – Theft less than $100.00

 

 

Adult Arrest

 

On 2/1/2019 the Cumberland City Police Department served an arrest warrant on Karolyn Rae Nelson. The warrant was issued when Ms. Nelson violated her probation on a previous driving while impaired charge. Ms. Nelson was ordered held without bail pending her next appearance in District Court.

Charge – Violation of Probation
