The Cumberland City Police served a Criminal Summons on Kelly Brewington, age 27, of Cumberland. The Summons stemmed from an August 10, 2018 complaint where police were called due to an assaulted by Brewington in the 800 block of Columbia Ave. Officers investigating the assault complaint referred all parties to District Court to apply for charges. Subsequently, charges were filed and a Criminal Summons was issued for Brewington charging her with 2nd Degree Assault. The Criminal Summons was served on Brewington and she was released pending trial in District Court.
