City Takes First Step In What Could Lead To The Construction Of A Large-Scale Apartment Complex

February 19th, 2020 by WCBC Radio

The Cumberland Mayor and City Council Tuesday took the first step in what could lead to the construction of a large-scale 40 unit apartment complex on the site of the former East Side School.  The former school at 100 Reynolds St. was torn down in 2016.  During last night’s public meeting, the council voted unanimously to declare the property to be surplus with the announced intention being to transfer the land to Allegany Junction Limited Partnership for the purchase price of $75,000. City officials have been in negotiations for several months with that Annapolis based company, but city administrator Jeff Rhodes despite progress being made- the negotiations have not been finalized….

Where is Paul Kelly & Matt Miller’s fingers? This deal smells of CEDC nonsense. Yet anther project the CEDC can’t complete.

Just have to ask, what is this Allegany Junction Limited Partnership? A little search on the Internet provided little to no information https://www.bizapedia.com/md/allegany-junction-limited-partnership.html. If you go there you will see a Zebulin Culver listed as the agent. If you search him you will see many other such partnerships with him as the agent. Just who is this group and what are they doing here?
