On Wednesday, officers with the Cumberland Police Department responded to a residence located in the 500 blk of Henderson Ave in reference to an assault. Upon arrival, officers contacted the complainant/victim who advised that an argument had ensued which had turned physical. The victim had minor injuries consistent with their account of the events that took place which did not require medical attention. As a result, officers placed 35 year old Nicole Arlott of Cumberland under arrest. Arlott was transported to Police Headquarters where she was processed and charged with one count of Second Degree Assault. Arlott was taken for an initial appearance at District Court where she was released on her personal recognizance pending her next court appearance.
