Citywide Vehicle Tampering Reported

On Saturday, Cumberland Police received complaints of subjects tampering with vehicles in different areas of the city.

The Cumberland Police is asking citizens to be diligent in locking their vehicle doors and removing valuables from their vehicles.

Also, if anyone observes anyone acting suspicious around vehicles please contact the Cumberland City Police at 301-777-1600.

    It would be helpful to know WHAT areas of the city the tampering occurred. It seems somewhat basically relevant to the story.

      > Probably the PD is being silent about the areas of tampering so the criminal is not aware. If he/she is aware (through media), they will not return to those spots.

    We need better Police patrols. All night long, cars race up and down Fayette Street. At high rates of speeds.
