The City of Cumberland Engineering Department would like to notify the public on the behalf of Columbia Gas of Maryland that on Monday, July 6, 2020, and Tuesday, July 7, 2020, the following streets will be closed from 7:00am to 5:00pm:
Baltimore Street between George Street and Queen City Drive
George Street between Baltimore Street and Union Street
The roads will be closed to allow the contractor to complete work within each intersection. This schedule may change due to weather conditions. Traffic will be restored at the conclusion of each work day.
The roads will remain accessible for use by EMS vehicles. Detour signs will be installed to route vehicles around the construction site on each day.
