The City of Cumberland, on behalf of Columbia Gas of Maryland and its contractor Northern Pipeline, is notifying the public that Allegany St from Greene Street to Washington Street will be CLOSED Saturday August 17 at 7 am until 5 pm. This work is needed to complete work on the main line replacement project. Detour will be in place for the entire area. Drivers are to use Greene Street to the Dingle back to Washington Street. Please use Greene Street to access the downtown area. Please use caution in the area.
