A few months ago, a federal court ordered that the lines of Maryland’s 6th District be redrawn because it was illegally drawn to favor Democrats after the last census.
Governor Larry Hogan has appointed an Emergency Commission to make a recommendation on the boundaries, and it will be holding a public hearing for residents of Allegany and Garrett Counties on Wednesday evening at 6:30 PM in the Allegany College of Maryland Theatre.
