A few months ago, a consultant recommended the Allegany County Commissioners abandon future racing at the County Fairgrounds, saying the land occupied by the track could be put to better use.
That idea caused a number of racing enthusiasts to both slam the report, and to see what could be done to re-establish racing at the facility.
