Commissioners Award Bid for Pump Station Upgrade

A lite agenda for the Allegany County Commissioners last week, with just a few business items wrapped up in less than an hour. The commissioners voted unanimously to award a bid for the Corriganville pumping station upgrade project. The bid was awarded to low bidder Jefferson Contracting of Charles Town, W.Va., in the amount of $962,750. The project is being funded through a combination of grants and loans from the United States Department of Agriculture.
