Taking advantage of the meetings location, the Allegany County Commissioners last week invited state Senator George Edwards to discuss the significance of the coal industry to the region. As part of an ongoing effort to reach out to all parts of the county, the commissioners conducted Thursday’s business meeting at the Barton Town Hall.
