Commissioners Looking To Implement Program To Provide Incentives To Small Businesses

The Allegany County Commissioners are looking to implement a new program that would provide a series of incentives for small businesses to locate in the county. The county is planning to establish a “small business technology micro-fund” in order to be able to provide tax and other incentives to entice potential businesses to choose Allegany County to open shop. The details are still being worked out, but the plan has the full endorsement of Commissioner Creade Brodie Jr who says it would provide a refreshing change for businesses who are used to having to deal with state and federal regulations and bureaucratic red tape…
