Commissioners Move Closer To Borrowing Funding For New Allegany HS

By a 2-1 vote, Allegany County commissioners on Thursday moved a bit closer to borrowing more than $9 million in funding for the new Allegany High School. A new Allegany sits at the top of the county’s Capital Improvement Plan. The total county commitment will be $9.2 million. Two weeks ago Commissioner Bill Valentine recommended capping that county commitment at that figure.
