Commissioners Put Cap on New Allegany

Although its difficult to prject construction prices three and four years out- and the Allegany County Commissioners have already placed a cap on the amount the county is willing to borrow for a new Allegany High School- local school officials are confident that the project will be completed. While such big dollar projects could find themselves in jeopardy given the fragile economy- School Superintendent Dr. David Cox says state representatives have been extremely supportive of the effort and he is confident that the project will be completed in the next four years even if some budget adjustments have to be made.
