Commissioners Ratify Two Year Contract With FOP

Last week, the Allegany County Commissioners ratified a two year contract with the Patrol and Judicial Division bargaining unit of the local Fraternal Order of Police.

WCBC News spoke with Sheriff Craig Robertson, who said the agreement includes a 2% pay increase in each of the next two years…

The county has agreed to a joint review of police pay scales in the region in order to have more information for future negotiations.

    I hope whoever does this study realizes that wages in Frederick and the DC suburbs are two to three times what they are here that is not in our region
