As part of an ongoing effort to keep residents updated on county business, the Allegany County Commissioners will publish a weekly schedule of meetings and events they participate in on the county website. Since taking office in December, the commissioners have conducted a more open style of meeting, including extending the amount of time constituents have to address the officials; and conducting more special meetings in communities around the county. Aside from the Tuesday county work session, and Thursday business meeting- each week the three commissioners participate in a number of other local and state meetings and activities.
