Maryland superintendent of schools Dr. Lillian Lowery and Allegany Schools head Dr. David Cox are both on the same page regarding the Common Core Standards and their implementation.
Dr. Cox and Dr. Lowery agree the state and county are in the midst of a major time crunch…
Dr. Cox told those in attendance at Frostburg State University Thursday night that local educators are working very hard to be ready for the new standards, but it is a major challenge facing the system because of the short time frame.
