Congressman John Delaney Visits Area

It was a full day of activity in Allegany County Friday for Maryland Sixth District Congressman John Delaney who wrapped up a two day swing through the region with stops at Frost Elementary School, the HRDC offices in Cumberland and Canal Place.  The democrat incumbent also participated in a sculpture unveiling at the trail head of the Great Allegheny Passage in Frostburg and met with officials at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center.  The sixth district is one of the more diverse in the state, starting in Garrett County and stretching to Montgomery County.  Delaney, looking to be re-elected to a second term next month, told WCBC News that while it is a diverse district- there are some common concerns and interest district wide….
