The Allegany County Commissioners, and the public, received an overview of the proposed preliminary budget for FY 2013- and while the outlook is not as bleak as it was under the state’s previously adopted doomsday budget- it is still going to be a challenging year ahead. Finance Director Jason Bennett provided a detailed breakdown to a small audience in attendance- with the highlights being essentially a decision to hold the line on all departments and agencies- no increases and personnel cuts totaling ten positions.
