Allegany County Commissioners President Jake Shade tells WCBC News that the county may entertain the idea of absorbing the city of Cumberland’s emergency medical services system in an effort to establish a more efficient operation. Earlier this month, the Frostburg Area Ambulance Service inquired as to the county’s interest in taking over that system. Shade says he can see a similar arrangement with Cumberland being worked out….
