The Allegany County Commissioners have been working with Sheriff Craig Robertson in assisting towns in the Georges Creek area deal with an increase in crime. Commisisoner Bill Valentine said that he and the sheriff have met recently with town officials in Lonaconing and Barton to discuss the growing incidents of criminal activity as well as possible solutions including the establishment of neighborhood crime watch groups…
